chapter 2begins on the train that the Jews were forced to board. This train brought them to an unknown destination, and there is a huge amount of fear withen all of the passengers on board.
On the train there is one passenger named Mrs. Schachter who goes crazy due to the loss of her husband and two of her sons. Each night, she would scream "Fire! I see a fire! I see a fire!"
At the end of the chapter, the train and passengers arrive at Aushwitz, one of the most well-known concentration camps. As the train pulls up, the passengers see large clouds of smoke rising up into the sky. This is quite ironic, because earlier in the chaper, Mrs. Schachter was yelling that she saw fire, and now they actually did see fire.

Good post zach, it was important that you wrote about how Madame Schacter screamed about seeing a fire. Nice job
I agree that the women is crazy on a literal level. However, I believe she is the only sane one on the train because she is the only one who can see the future, represented by the fire she sees.
I like the pic to spice it up a little. keep up the good work big zach
